A Storm Is Coming ...

I took a second to admire this perfect day...
And noticed that something was blocking the Sun's ray...
The children quickly looked up and stopped their play...
Noticing that their blue sky was becoming gray...
Black storm clouds began to replace the white ones...
And mean, angry winds began to shove the nice ones...
Thunder crackling drowned out the bird's singing...
To the point where my winged friends considering leaving..
The ruffles in the water started to become waves...
Lightning began to strike, setting the sky ablaze...
The clothes on my back suddenly seemed thin...
As I felt a drop of rain plop onto my skin...
The trees no longer had their calm sway...
But it seemed as if they were getting blown away...
All I can do is hope that things change for the better...
But this proves that nothing good lasts forever...
